Social media for social changes

I would like to bring you an example of interesting social media use.Recently I found out that on FB page there is a group of people who organize different interesting exhibitions.The group has lots of members and information about upcoming and current events are being shared only through FB.The group helps young and talented artists to organize their first exhibitions and it helps them to develop for future.So we can do helpful and interesting works by media.Let's chnage the world by media.

DOTCOM Phase #3, Module 2 - Exploring REEL BAD ARABS

1.When the film started I read some information,in the middle of the video I noticed in the right some explanations written for that part of the film.At that moment worked my neocortical brain,the youngest part of our brain.In this film when something broke out,and there appeared a big fire,was working my reptilian bran,as it works when happens something unexpected.While looking this film I feel fear,interest...and worked my limbic brain(our emotional brain).
2.While looking the film I realized that without music aspect the film isn't so impressive,but when turn on the music the film alive ,it becomes more .So the most specific production technique in this video was the voice,in my opinion.
3.At first I notice the REPETITION.As in many ways the video want to make us sure that Arabs are reel bad.The second I notice the NAME CALLING ,the film was called BAD Arabs,so it is already a persuasive method.
4.I think the only thing I want to say,that the quality of the film was really bad,and as it was more clear,it would be more powerful.
5.Maybe it will be interesting to see this film with my friends even in the collage,because we can discuss things concerning to this film,Arabs,and of course we can learn much from each other.

DOTCOM Launches PHASE 3! - Module #1: Reflecting on DOTCOM, Phase 2

1. The most challenging part of July PHASE 2 DOTCOM experience for me was to work on our videos.It was really hard,but the result was perfect,and I am happy that my group was very friendly and we overcome that hard experience.
2. For me everything was rewarding,as I think we learn t things as much as possible,we create new friendship with all DOTCOM students.And almost everything that we have done in the USA was really useful.
3.I think that the most fun time was in Washington DC,where we have visited not only museums,but we have some team building games.And finally the last days in the airport,where our Armenian group had to stay some more days.
4.I am sure that I will enjoy our fall PHASE 3,as now we are more informed about media tools and I am sure that with the help of Rob Williams we will get more and more skills.

Our First DOTCOM Reflection Assignment

1.When we had visited Newseum in Washington, I had learned there more about media.For example around the world,more than 1 billion people read newspapers every day.And besides giant international news networks such as CNN and the BBC,an estimated 25000 television stations and 65000 radio stations operate around the world.In many countries,the government owns those stations and controls programming.

2.In Washington DC ,where we live all together,we play many team building games.And I learned to American's how to play another kind of hide-and-seek.I have also a little cultural shock.I think I have to learn much,because in future we have 20 days to learn from each other.

3.I think the most challenging thing is working on our 5-7 minutes videos.I like my group,with whom I am going to create the video.Today we work very much,it is a little hard for me,but we must work to have a good results.

4.It is really exciting to visit many interesting places,to get equated of different cultures practically to our colleagues.And I am so excited that all our DOTCOM ers are very friendly!
